Members are required to participate and demonstrate a working knowledge in certain core requirements. Participation in these training events is pre-requisite to be mission eligible. Additionally these training requirements satisfy the mandate of the Washington State Administrative code and prepare the members for issues specific to mountain rescue.

Rigging (annual 2 day training)

Patient packaging (annual)

Blood Borne Pathogens (annual)

CPR (annual)

Helicopter (bi-annual)

Snow training (bi-annual)

Navigation (bi-annual)

First aid (2-3 years as specified by course)

Advanced rigging

Mock Mission (practice operation)
