TRAINING DESCRIPTIONS, REQUIREMENTS & PREREQUISITES
Members are required to participate and demonstrate a working knowledge in certain core requirements. Participation in these training events is pre-requisite to be mission eligible. Additionally these training requirements satisfy the mandate of the Washington State Administrative code and prepare the members for issues specific to mountain rescue.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Rigging (annual 2 day training)Patient packaging (annual)
Blood Borne Pathogens (annual)
CPR (annual)
Helicopter (bi-annual)
Snow Training (bi-annual)
Navigation (bi-annual)
First aid (2-3 years as specified by course)
